Waste Management
2
For the past two years, the Club has been implementing a waste recycling policy at its various sites. The head office, the women's training centre, our training and pre-training centre are all equipped with waste separation bins. From 2015 to 2018, PSG collected nearly 3.4 tons of surplus food after its home matches and distributed it to charities from the following day. Communication on the giant screens on match nights to encourage the public to sort the waste. In addition, the technical teams have created a sorting area in the stadium to recycle all the materials used. The Club has also installed 8 hens, which the employees look after on a daily basis. The aim is to give them all the food waste from the VIP lounges and players' snacks. The waste generated by the henhouse is then composted to create natural fertiliser for our vegetable garden.

Water-saving equipment and overall monitoring of consumption will also be put in place to guarantee savings in drinking water

The new training and training center, whose first opening is scheduled for the summer of 2023, should be an "environmental example" due to the preservation and enhancement of the site's biodiversity. The planting of more than 4,000 trees is planned with 3,000 trees already planted to date. Of the 74 hectares of the site, 30 hectares will be developed into green spaces with multiple functions: nursery, vegetable garden, meadows, wooded areas, traffic areas. The landscaping project thus aims to encourage the reception of many animal species and to favor species native to the Paris basin.
