Sustainable Transport

- Electric vehicle charging is available in the car parks (free charging, with the purchase of a parking ticket) and there are free “Monaco On” fast charging points in each district of Monaco

- Our company vehicle fleet is hybrid

- CAM public bus transport: 50% of buses are hybrid: the combination of diester and hybrid traction allows a reduction of fossil emissions by 50%.
- 100% of buses in the Monegasque public service fleet are equipped with a ramp allowing access to people in wheelchairs. Thus all the lines of the Principality’s network are accessible. Most buses can tilt to facilitate boarding and alighting for people with reduced mobility. Identified seats are reserved for people holding the “arduous standing station” card.

Single Use Plastic Reduction/Removal
- Launch of Eco-Cups (April 2022). An eco-responsible alternative to disposable cups is now available at Stade Louis-II. These cups will be sold on match days, at the price of €1*, in the two points of sale located around the Louis-II Stadium: the shop truck on the forecourt and the ephemeral shop next to the Première stand: https://www.asmonaco.com/des-gobelets-reutilisables-disponibles-pour-les-supporters/
- Season 21-22: Distribution of glass water bottles to all salaries (excluding pro players) in order to eliminate the free distribution of single-use plastic water bottles at the various sites and encourage eco-responsible behaviour and encourage a water fountain user connected to the city network
- Upcoming workshop with football school for recycling training
- Elimination of plastic bottles in all offices and Training Center
- Employees receive a free glass water bottle upon arrival
- The young people of the Training Center (70 young people) have gourds

Waste Management
- Training center: Composting of waste from the cafeteria

Water Efficiency
- Installation of a new pitch for the stadium, resulting in reduced water consumption (-30%) and less fertiliser (-60%)

- Eco-responsible commitment charter with service provider Sodexo (Training Center) and Elior (Training Center) purchase from local producers: sustainable fishing, meat mainly of French origin, fight against waste, etc.

Biodiversity
- Realisation of workshops on the theme of the environment (biodiversity, recycling, food, health, composting, …) for schools, academies, football schools to raise awareness of environmental issues and in partnership with the local institution SMA, Terrae for example
- As part of the construction of the new Training Center, we have kept a reserved space to protect the preservation of the salamander biotope (protected species) in partnership with ecological engineers and planned control visits

- In April 2023, AS Monaco and the Oceanographic Institute signed a partnership agreement to raise awareness about the protection of the Ocean and its biodiversity. Young people of AS Monaco’s Academy benefited from a guided tour of the Oceanographic Museum and its spaces (exhibition, aquarium, reserve) in order to be made aware of the fragility of the marine world. - AS Monaco has, joined the Committed Trade Label and launched the “Red & White Hives”, an awareness program on the preservation of biodiversity and more particularly bees. (Update April 28, 2023)
Other
- For official outfits with “The Corner” partner, employees and players wear vegan sneakers designed by Yatay bio-materials, such as corn, wood, recycled plastic and tires
- Creation of the CSR department with an identified referent within the Club
- Launched “ÜNSEME” – a program that aims to strengthen and perpetuate the link that exists between AS Monaco and the municipalities and amateur clubs of the region. (Update April 28, 2023)
- Invited young people of the Mediterranean League and Italian border clubs to watch the club’s home Ligue 1 fixture against Lorient. (Update April 28, 2023)
- Throughout the month of December 2022, AS Monaco and its former international defender Benoit Badiashile participated in the “Yes to the internet, no to its dangers” campaign. Launched by Action Innocence Monaco, the action aimed to protect youngsters from the dangers of the internet and social networks. (Update April 28, 2023)
- Partnered with Paris Saint-Germain by inviting three teenagers battling with cancer to the home fixture vs Paris Saint-German as part of the International Day of Child Cancer. The teenagers met the players, collected autographs and also met World Cup winner Emmanuel Petit. (Update April 28, 2023)
