- All tickets include a travel permit for four hours before and four hours after the match in the entire Central German Transport Association (MDV) (the offer for local transport was extended from 8 to 11 zones in 2020)
- Satisfaction survey after each match with spectators of the club (target group of the survey: selection of matchday viewers). One question concerns transport to the Games
- Bicycle –
- A secure bicycle garage for up to 500 bicycles is available near the stadium
- E-mobility –
- In the garage of the Red Bull Arena there is 1 charging station (2 charging points) for electric cars

- At the training academy and at the main building of the Red Bull Arena there are a total of 4 charging stations for electric cars
- Implementation of electric cars in the vehicle fleet – expansion of electric or hybrid cars in summer 2021 including additional charging stations (up to 50% of the fleet)
- Bicycle –
- From May 2021, RB Leipzig will offer employees the opportunity to lease a company bike (job wheel). Use for business and private purposes possible
- Public transport
- RB Leipzig offers employees a job ticket for public transport. Staff receive a discounted monthly ticket for public transport. RB Leipzig assumes part of the costs
Single Use Plastic Reduction/Removal
- RB Leipzig has a policy to reduce the single-use plastic in the club, on a case-by-case basis
- Reusable cups in public catering (deposit system available / cold drinks) in the Red Bull Arena
- All packaging and items in public catering (e.B. coffee cups, straws, forks) are made of recycled material (all biodegradable)
- Cups for hot drinks made of recycled and biodegradable material
- No plastic bags in the fan shops
Waste Management
- Waste management in everyday operations: separation according to German regulations (glass, paper and cardboard, biodegradable waste, packaging of all kinds, residual waste) and separation of aluminium cans
- Red Bull Arena on match day: All packaging and required items in public catering (e.B. coffee cups, straws, forks) are made of recycled material (all biodegradable)

- Regarding the rest of the stadium seats, a project was started together with the HTWK (University of Technology, Economics and Culture Leipzig) to recycle the old stadium seats and, if possible, to use them to produce the new seats.
Water Use

Plant based/low carbon food
- Vegan, vegetarian and sustainable food are available to fans and employees at all RB Leipzig locations
- Matchday:
- At the Red Bull Arena, spectators can buy a vegan vegetable wrap, the baguette “Vegano” with homemade tomato spread and pickled tofu, vegan curry wurst and three delicious salads: https://www.peta.de/themen/bundesliga-2019-stadien-vegan/ a total of 13 vegan/ vegetarian products available
- Only organic sweets and a range of organic soft drinks are available
- Local partners for beer, baked goods and part of the grill range (bratwurst, roast edits) – less transport, fresh products (not frozen)
- Hospitality Catering: Local caterer; Wide range of hospitality foods, including vegetarian and vegan foods, but not in a fixed proportion
- Company:
- First team, youth and staff: in-house kitchen in the academy with in-house chefs, meals for the first team, the youth players who live in the academy and prepare staff. The dishes are prepared according to a dietary philosophy that includes vegan and vegetarian diets. Where possible, regional suppliers are preferred
- Catering for employees is offered (external local caterer): the sporty diet also includes vegetarian and vegan dishes (catering by local caterers – such as catering in the hospitality area)
Communication/Engagement
- Sustainability is an integral part of RB Leipzig’s procurement policy
- In 2020, sustainability was defined by management as one of the most important priorities for the future. All aspects of sustainability are currently being reviewed in order to define the future (holistic) sustainability approach at RB Leipzig (ecological, social, economic)
